A small neighbourhood bar nestled on the corner of Adelaide Road and Luxford Street, in the heart of the community of Berhampore.
We provide great New Zealand brewed beer, cider and food. A great place to catch up with friends for lunch, a beer after work or come and partake in our Quiz on Tuesdays, Greek Food Truck on Thursdays or Vinyl Sundays – there is always something happening at the Sprig!

Locally Brewed Craft Beer
Sprig + Fern Brewing Co. is an award winning brewery based in Nelson. Tracy Banner, Master Brewer is a pioneer in the industry and her creativity and contribution to the craft beer world marks her the Mother of New Zealand brewing.
At the Sprig + Fern Berhampore we have 19 taps of all the favourites. Sixteen crowd pleasers, one of the well sought after Sprig + Fern Ginger Beer; brewed the same as beer, however non-alcoholic to cater to all. We have three rotational taps of seasonal releases. This allows us to keep up with trends and offer the whole range of Sprig + Fern products to our customers.

IN THE NEWS: In June 2023, The Sprig + Fern Berhampore helped the Chocolate Fish Cafe who were displaced by a fire in Shelly Bay. We opened our doors early each weekend so their staff and customers still had a presence in the market.
It was such a pleasure having John, Penny and the team with us for 6 months and getting to meet and engage with a wider community

Our Tuesday night quiz is a great night out with friends and family. 7pm start. Bookings recommended.

Come along to our vinyl Sundays! Each week we have a local DJ enthusiast at the tavern. Keen to spin some tunes. Give us a call
Need to Fundraise?
We can host a quiz night for your club or sports team on Monday evenings. We will supply the quiz and prizes, you bring the people.

Community
At Sprig + Fern Berhampore we aren’t shy at getting stuck in and helping our local community when they come calling.
We contribute to many sporting teams, local community groups, schools in our area and hosted many kids, dogs, mums and human parties.
